I looked high and low in the workshop manuals but could not find mention of the distributor cap wiring connections for the 914-6. Is the wiring order and clockwise rotation shown in the photo below correct? I took this from a 911 sticker.

I am creating a quick reference sheet for myself as I prepare to reassemble our engine.

P.S. Believe it or not, not all 911 are the same. I guess the SC turns counter clockwise?

That is the correct rotation and firing order on a -6. Once you line up the #1 position on the distributor with the TDC mark on the flywheel, you are good. However, make sure you properly identify the cylinder locations. According to the sticker on mine, #1 is the rear most on the driver side, (as referenced with the engine installed, fan facing forward).
