I looked high and low in the workshop manuals but could not find mention of the distributor cap wiring connections for the 914-6. Is the wiring order and clockwise rotation shown in the photo below correct? I took this from a 911 sticker.

I am creating a quick reference sheet for myself as I prepare to reassemble our engine.

P.S. Believe it or not, not all 911 are the same. I guess the SC turns counter clockwise?

The # 1 CYLINDER on a 914 6 is the one closest the passenger seat.
# 2 and #3 are behind #1 in order
#4 is closest the drivers seat and #5 and #6 are behind #4 in order.
Marelli dizzy ?
The spade connector on the dizzy points straight at the seat bulkhead.
The tip of the rotor is over the notch on the rim of the dizzy, the #1 wire
is in the socket over the tip of the rotor.
Your illustration shows the firing order. Place the wires in the cap in that order
starting with # 1
