Has anyone had success deleting hood lights, and driving with bumpers lights? It would be very occassional night driving, but I do want to see well. Pictures, advise?

the lower you mount a light, the less effective it is, stock type headlights mounted that low would really be dim....
the pilot light is going to be too bright, the beam will be too widespread..... just cause someone has done it without getting a ticket, this is one of those things that "are only illegal, if you get caught" instances (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) best case if you get pulled over is just a warning or fix it ticket, worse case would be impounding the car if the officer deemed it too dangerous and a liability..... I had lights similar to these Pilots mounted in the air dam of my Mustang 5.0.....the pattern was way too wide for "legal" driving.....sorta...I wired up a rheostat and turned the power down low while cruising around and then cranked up the power when I felt it was safe to do so.....
