Are the 5 lug rear rotors supposed to use the 2 small screws to mount them to the hub or does the wheel just hold them to the hub?

When the 4 lug hubs/rotors are converted to 5 lug one of the existing 4 lug holes is used and 4 additional ones machined. If during the machining process the the same hole isnt retained in both the rotor and the hub then the rotor retaining screw hole wont be in the same orientation.
As stated its more of a convenience thing as once the wheel is installed the retaining screw just sits there and rusts so you should be fine to run it either way. May or may not be something that is on PMBs radar. You would need to ask them to determine if this was a mistake or just something they don't account for. are you seeing the same issue with both rotors/hubs? @Eric_Shea |
