Has anyone had success deleting hood lights, and driving with bumpers lights? It would be very occassional night driving, but I do want to see well. Pictures, advise?

There was a guy that built--then parted out--a 914 2.5 "lite" a while back. His site says "Complete headlight assemblies replaced with ultra-lightweight plastic HP4666 rectangular high/low beam halogen bulbs in buckets from a Geo Metro mounted in stock foglight positions (shown to the left)."
Here's a link: http://home1.gte.net/nugentmd/914lite.htm look about half-way down the page. Hope this helps! steve a- |
