My engine lid cable was broken when I bought the car.
PO bent the cable and rigged it to stick out between the engine lid and the trunk. You had to hold it just right in order to close the engine lid without trapping the cable. Today I fixed that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) $3 at Home Depot and now it works (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) I am still looking for a better handle, so if you have suggestions........ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) I kind of like the TEE, but I am still looking around the house at old toys for something better. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif) I order a new cable and I am thinking of rerouting to the original location, but that thing never worked well......... I will have to shoot a picture of mine. Works perfectly and use the OEM knob but in the same basic location as yours
