I just happened to have been browsing some parts suppliers. I remember some posts about having to “trim” the new Dansk tanks. I happened to see 2 different part numbers available. I am assuming 1 is early, and 1 is late…?.???…. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) one month earlier than that dr. its 11/73. changeover is weekend 17/18 Nov 73. for tank style 1. thats when the charcoal can goes to the engine bays. tank style 3 with plastic expansion tank begins pretty much thereabouts may 10 1974. approx 2 months of 74 MY get the plastic tank like the 75 on. and in between is tank style 2 from 11/73 tp 05/74 thereabouts. tank style 2 is a metal expansion tank as per earlier cars but the charcoal can fixing is deleted. its pretty easy to miss the detail on tank style 2. its a very small thing that is different. the correct tank from dansk for a 74 from 11/73 to early 05/74 is the early tank and you just put up with the charcoal can clip. or do what @Van B did buy the later tank and weld on the earlier brackets for metal expansion tank. though i better check that with Van as there could be more to that.
