I buy a ton of stuff from DPP. I pickup in person, saving shipping and sales tax but even shipped, most of their prices beat out pelican by a little to a lot. If you talk to the guy running the online store (same guy who runs the parts department at the dealer) he won’t know anything about 914 parts - but he will tell you if they are in stock in the warehouse or have to be ordered from Germany. I’ve purchased everything from a single bolt to a set of 911 fenders and quarter panels.

They don’t actually charge your card until a part is shipped or picked up. I don’t know how a big brick and mortar Porsche dealer can sell at a deep discount. I do know the order has to be on their website. If you order at the counter, it’s retail. I have sat in their waiting room, eating their snacks and ordering on the site and the parts guy tells me he received the order. It’s really a nice alternative to the usual sources and they willingly accept returns within a week.
