So much to work with here... carbs, return lines for carbs, lots of fun.
Anyway I need to work on some upper fuel lines and was going to add a return line. For folks that have done it, what route did you use for the return? How did you make the hose bend for the 2nd carb if you routed it on the rear wall? Also, where to add a pressure gauge? Between the pump and the 1st carb, or between the two carbs? What's best for accuracy or does it matter? Lots of threads on functional talk, but I don't recall pics of the work. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thisthreadisworthlesswithoutpics.gif) |

why not use the OE route that was used for FI ? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Chris at Tangerine sells the two short pieces of stainless that mount to the passenger's side inner wall (in the engine compartment that comes up thru the shelf) like the OE FI set up, but in stainless. -Add a Filter under the engine shelf (up in the corner around where the engine bar mounts on the passenger's side). -Add the pressure gauge right after the SS 'delivery' piece. Then a hose to the first carb. -Then a fuel hose over to the second carb. -Loop the fuel hose exiting the second carb back around (to the rear engine tin area) and back to the second SS piece 'the return' that you've mounted over on the passenger side wall. ^^So it's very similar to what the factory did with FI. |
