Recent 74 project I got for a shop build came with a rare, factory side shift LSD. I can’t recall the last side shift one I’ve seen.
Metal tab indicating oil type was first clue.  So I checked the flanges and sure enough they turn together. |

Over the years two have come my way. One side shifter and one rear shifter, both
HB boxes The oddest part is that one came as an extra with a car I bought and the second came from the buyer of the same car. The trans was in his pile when I delivered the car. For sale ? Yep. Both diffs. need freshning. |
