Hmm, I have a '74, but it's not a US model. I was looking at the fuses today, because I am adding in a subwoofer and I am going to put that on a separate circuit with an auxiliary fuse, either 10 or 16A.

I am hooking the auxiliary fuse input side to the hot side of terminal S12 - that looks to be 12V, direct to battery - the incoming wire is also pretty heavy gauge. There is actually even a free spade lug there on mine. The other side of the auxiliary fuse will go to the radio and subwoofer.

According to this:

Fuses S8, S10 and S12 should be 16A, all the others 8. On mine, both 8 and 12 are 16A, but 10 is only 8A.

S10 is supposed to be for the fog lamps and the horns. My car has the aux lights in the bumper, but they are not fog lights, they are driving (distance) lights - clear lenses, no ribbing. And, there is no separate switch on the dash for these lights. They go on with the high beams, and if the headlights are retracted, flicking the brights lever switches them on as well. I like this arrangement, you can "flash" an oncoming driver without raising the headlights. I'm not sure if all the "Euro" cars work this way, or maybe just those delivered in France...

I am thinking I should replace fuse S10 with a 16 amp guy. If I have the headlights on with the high beams (i.e. aux lights on too) and I hit the horn... I don't know what wattage the aux lights are - haven't taken them out yet to look. If they are 55W, that would already be 9A alone... So possibly they are 35W, which would draw only 6A. No idea how much the horns draw.

Does anyone have an actual wiring diagram for a '74 non-USA? I can't make heads or tails of the '74 "Current flow" diagrams in the manual.

I have a beautiful 14" x34" hand-drafted wiring diagram for my '57 T-Bird, it's a work of art...
