Hi All: I was driving home from a shop yesterday and my window would not go down. As it turns out the bottom screws at the rear rail had come loose, one is now gone, and the glass pulled out of the lower lifting rail.
I tried pushing the glass into the track while it's in the door, but that does not seem to be the answer. Haynes is pretty weak on any details. I just watched one of Ians videos but he didn't show this step Any input will be appreciated! |

All: I'm having a tough time locating the part number for the rubber insert in the lower lifting arm. I don't see it on the PET. The rubber is in pretty bad shape and at some point someone used a very sticky rubber like caulk to hold the glass in. Our local guru told me this should go in dry with a new rubber.
Any insights? |
