Looking for input.
Found rust inside my gas tank and curious what people use to clean and seal. I purchased evaporust and am going to use that after a good washout. What have you used that worked well? Also, aside from POR 15 fuel tank sealer what products have you used that you thought worked well or found not to? Lastly, sealer recommendation, rust removal tactics and quantity of sealant needed to coat a 914 tank. Thank you very much for any advice/input. Brett |

Best is to thoroughly clean and fill back up with fuel. Don’t seal it. It was never sealed at the factory. Sealers fail and then it’s a mess. Or buy new. New ranks aren’t much more than all the products needed to clean and seal the tank.
