I need to replace the hose going to the remote oil pressure switch and sender. Tight to get into with any real leverage or tool below the tin on the engine. What works to get that out? I thought about cutting the hose and using a socket for the old one, but I need to replace it and put a new one in too.

What size is the hex? How about the hose diameter? I've bought or made things like these over the years for similar projects.

You beat me to it. I have made a couple of slotted deep sockets like that.
