Just wanted you all to know I met Larry and Dad tonight at a Cool local Hot Rod Shop here in Des Moine! Larry is heading back to Texas with his Flywheel, Engine mount, and Freshly modified transaxle. Larry will post pictures when he gets home. Keep your fingers crossed for him. He said he thought he may be running into a snow storm on the way home.

I want to thank John Mc Nulty owner of "The Rod Garage" In Des Moine IA. For loaning us his shop for the evening! John, If you check in on us, Your the best! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) Here's the link to his shop. Anyone that needs parts for a hot rod or conversion car needs to give him a call.

Ok Rich just testing the waters here. Got my 70 body shell all apart and am thinking I need more power. Reading the rules in SCCA I think I can stay in SM-2 if I use a 928 motor but not if I use a chevy????

Seems you have a good recipe for this conversion. After a few more what do you think the difficulty level will be at? I will probably buy a motor from 928INTL as I think they still have my credit card on file (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif) At least I my be able to avoid some of the hardships of whacked out motors.

Is your recipe for 928 conversion in print or just between your ears at this stage?
