Due to circumstances beyond my control my 914 is going to have to spend our upcoming Utah Winter OUTSIDE. As you can imagine this is a bitter pill to swallow. I have done some research but am having trouble finding a suitable Outdoor All Season Car Cover for my pride and joy. I am hoping that there may be a few of you who have had experience with this and can offer some guidance. Please and thank you in advance.

Whatever car cover you decide on, monitor for moisture underneath and air out on sunny days. Park the car over concrete if possible, bare ground will become saturated when it rains and increase moisture under the car. If you can put up a car canopy to keep direct sun and rain off of the car, that will help. And, monitor for rodents, where I live they like to get up into engine compartments.
If the inflatable car bubble idea means outside moist air would be pumped into the bubble to keep it inflated, that can't be good. I've been looking for inexpensive garage space to rent for awhile. It must be out there, but like the unicorn, it's elusive. |
