Thought I would show what is going on. The aftermarket are 180 degrees out in the rear and that makes the single one in center out. Depth of bottom is about 1/4" shorter the Bosch one. Aftermarket will work with enlarged holes BUT it still sets higher on the relay board.

In addition to having to either redrill the relay board, or the regulator (better) you will have to trim some of the relay board cover.
Not really a big deal, the Beru solid state regulator does not produce as much heat as the original. You can see how much should be trimmed in this picture.  |
