Filter console product question Options

I am looking at another round of filter consoles for the 911/914-6 folks. Last time I did 100 and that was 2022. I just sold the last one. My question is do you think it’s worth while to run another 50 of them? Is there demand? I would offer a group buy on them to offset costs and sell them for $50 each. Let me know your thoughts

I would guess we are nearing the end of these builds. I have been doing the 914 thing for 9 years now and the 911 business for 15 years prior to that. I watched the 911s become to expensive by the end and then jumped to the 914s and now they are becoming the same and more specific to the 914-6s.

I am investing in these and GT lines and maybe another run of oil tanks. And still engine sheet metal but inventory on most items is half of what it was a year ago.

I’ve always been of the opinion that a 911 is a poor substitute for a 914.

It was marvelous when 914’s were cheap and shunned by the Porsche crowd. Unfortunately it seems that after 50 years the Porsche crowd and pricing has caught up.

Sort of unfortunate because it’s kept the 914 out of many younger hands. Eventually the tide will turn but probably not anytime soon barring an economic disaster unlike anything we’ve witnessed in our lifetimes.
