914 2.0 injector issues, Help Options

I replaced my fuel injectors on my 2.0 - 4 and the car will not run it seam's like I'm getting fuel any ideas?

Sorry I work on Motocross bikes way easier. yes I'm talking about the MPS and it was rebuilt by a shop in California and just returned. I have a stock motor not rebuilt. I will check the ground wires when I get home to make sure there all connected. Thank you! I'll keep you posted. This is my first 914 and I'm trying to learn more about the car as a hobby, so far its been fun replacing easier things I just need to get thru this issue.

Same principle for combustion applies so you should have a head start.

I’m sure I’m taking your comment about the fun of replacing parts out of context but it’s important to realize that it is far better to diagnose the problem than to throw parts at it. Swapping parts as a means of diagnostics often creates as many problems as it solves given how fragile 50 year old wiring has become and how easy it is to bump and loosen simple spade connectors.

As Jeff noted, the MPS is critical and swapping in the wrong or a miscalibrated MPS will cause issues. Same for swapping a fuel pressure regulator.

Have you read and do you understand the Djet system as outlined on the Brad Anders site and the troubleshooting guide on Jeff’s site?
