The not a real six 1972 3.6 914 that sold for $170k is back on BAT

Already at $88,888 with 6 days left on the auction. It will go well above 100k without a doubt. I'd imagine the reserve is at least $150k. Low mileage 993 engines are not cheap even if you can find them. Will be interesting to see what actually happens this time around. Doesn't make it worth 150, the rest of the build looks fairly middle of the road to me, so you are buying an engine. I also feel a 3.6 is a little overkill in a 914. Overkill is just enough IMHO… There's no kill like over-kill. |
