Hello everyone,
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Fred from France, I bought a Porsche 914-6 converted with a 3.6 from 993 c2, the engine starts well, but the previous mechanic fitted a Wevo side shift kit, The mechanic where the car is tells me that there is a problem with the location of the gears on the gearshift grid. Reverse gear is in place of first gear, do you have a spare part or a solution to sell me to stop the problem? or is it a mistake in the assembly of the wevo kit? Has anyone seen this problem? Thank you |

I installed a 915 with a Vellios side shift kit in my car.
If I remember correctly while using the stock shifter the gears were backwards and upside down. I did put a 915 rennshift in it and it works great. I do miss the dogleg first gear though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) It's now a 911 5 speed shift pattern. Hope this helps. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |
