Picked up a 76 out of texas that had been converted to single carb that just doesn't run very well. I decided to convert back to original FI, essentially everything is gone and I am working on understanding the system. I guess my first question is where does the fuel pump draw power from? there is a single black wire underneath the fuel tank that has no power to it but all the relays have been removed and Im waiting on those from pelican

Hi Jeff ,
Yes ,as I mentioned I have a federally conforming/non California car . I have pulled apart and cleaned and refilled my canister with new charcoal . I have everything that came on the car as far as I know but those valve covers confuse me . I will be posting a WTB ad in classifieds soon. I have a 88HP motor GCD04876 . In all the parts I got when I purchased the car I never saw a Fuel feed cut-out ( this concerns me ) I think I will hold off another week while I make sure I am going to pass my smog check . I never saw a place in the wiring harness that this would hook up to ? |
