I would like some advice as to the best accelerator cable mount and location for a 74 type 4 i am working on. i've only owned fi so any help will help. Also is there a certain cable shroud part that holds the cable shroud to the mounting bar allowing little to no resistance for the cable to move freely. Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sawzall-smiley.gif)

I'm sorry!
You have a serious build. Your carbs may be much larger. If they were speced by Raby I'd expect them to be well dialed in. 44s with 34-36 vents would be my guess. Still needs the wideband but I would be very hesitant to make large changes to what Raby suggests. Years ago, one of my buddies was visiting Reher Morrison. (1/4 mile guys) They were obsessing on removing 10 lbs. from the car. They noticed the driver sitting in their breakroom eating a box of powdered donuts... The entire shop surrounded the driver, looking down on him in disgust! My friend beat feet as to not be a witness... |
