I would like some advice as to the best accelerator cable mount and location for a 74 type 4 i am working on. i've only owned fi so any help will help. Also is there a certain cable shroud part that holds the cable shroud to the mounting bar allowing little to no resistance for the cable to move freely. Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sawzall-smiley.gif)

Something like this.
https://fuelab.com/51504-fuel-pressure-regu...-in-6an-out/p12 In the tech sheet tab, you will find they make one for 1-3 psi. That would work. Don't buy a "mini" regulator. You want the diaphragm as big as you can fit. A big regulator will also act like a damper as well. This is more important for FI but the big diameter diaphragms seem to be much more accurate as well. Radium is another source I like. https://www.radiumauto.com/index.aspx I didn't see a good fit from them. You could call. That is a question I'd ask Jake if I was in your shoes... Edit: I just found a good brand generic 3 psi regulator... I haven't built a carbed system in a while, fuel injection regulators are my "norm" now. I'd bet the 911, 914-6 carb crowd might have better suggestions. |
