Picked up a 76 out of texas that had been converted to single carb that just doesn't run very well. I decided to convert back to original FI, essentially everything is gone and I am working on understanding the system. I guess my first question is where does the fuel pump draw power from? there is a single black wire underneath the fuel tank that has no power to it but all the relays have been removed and Im waiting on those from pelican

Your car doesn't have an advance port, that would be on the anterior of the throttle body. They stopped that in 74. Your car only has a retard port, on the posterior of the throttle body. The retard on bowelsby's map is correct and goes where it should, as it should on your 76. However, on a 76 the advance hose from the distributor just lays on the engine, unattached to anything. The only port near where bowlesby has drawn the adv hose ending is the port for the mps. That is pointed straight up out of the plenum and needs to go to the mps.
