I have the muffler shown in the picture below that I hope to use for the six I am restoring. I have no idea whether it will work but I sure don't want to have to pay big money for another one. Does anyone know what this one is and what it would be used for?

It looks like a stock exit single muffler converted to a sport muffler. It will work, but you will need to remove the rear valance. Or buy a fiberglass one with no exits and cut out your own. Note.. These are really loud. I installed one on my car and when I backed out of the garage it sounded like someone was banging a hammer on my Neighbors garage across the street. They weren't very happy. I went for a drive, came home, removed it and sold it.
