I have a pair of Koni rear shocks that I was thinking about rebuilding. Is there a rebuild kit available, and if so, are they worth rebuilding? They came off a 914-6. What was the original rear shock on a six?

The re-build service was close to the price of new parts last time I checked and doesn't come with a warranty (maybe 1 year?).
The new adjustable units are a bunch better! They are yellow. When you purchase new, they come with a LIFETIME warranty. You can have Koni rebuild multiple times if needed. My suggestion is new and make copies, both physical and electronic, of your receipt. Most receipts fade with age... |
