I have a pair of Koni rear shocks that I was thinking about rebuilding. Is there a rebuild kit available, and if so, are they worth rebuilding? They came off a 914-6. What was the original rear shock on a six?

There are shock rebuild shops out there that are faster and cheaper than sending to koni. These are very simple shocks so it doesn’t take much to rebuild properly. You would rebuild the shock if it’s a special size or date coded part or if you want custom valving and/or adjustment knobs added for compression and rebound. If it’s just your run of the mill shock, buy new. It cheaper and faster.
