The restoration of my 914-6 is moving along well. The car has steel flared fenders and a set of Fuchs 6x15 will be installed, but I believe I need some spacers to move the wheels outward a bit.
I believe M471 cars used 6x15" wheels and 21mm spacers, am I correct? I also need longer wheel studs, what is adequate for a 21mm spacer, a 70mm stud? Thanks Henry ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I used the 21mm spacers and studs off the rear of an early 944. I think they are 80mm but not sure at this time.
I'd put something wider than 6" on a flared car, or what's the purpose. And if you're not into exact replica I'd do 16" for the shorter sidewall and tire choices. 205/55-16 is stock Boxster fronts and a very common size. |
