The restoration of my 914-6 is moving along well. The car has steel flared fenders and a set of Fuchs 6x15 will be installed, but I believe I need some spacers to move the wheels outward a bit.
I believe M471 cars used 6x15" wheels and 21mm spacers, am I correct? I also need longer wheel studs, what is adequate for a 21mm spacer, a 70mm stud? Thanks Henry ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Thanks for the comments on the 6" wheels, I also have a set of 7"x15 and a 7"x16. I will try those on for size. I think I like the 15s more than the 16s, because the 16s are all black
My current studs are 45mm long, so if I add 21mm spacers, I should be OK with 66mm studs? I have seen the spacers from 944s, those are 21mm, and plenty of availability. I might g with those Thanks again Henry |
