Hi Guys,
With spring around the corner and my -6 coming out of metal soon, I figured I'd put the bumblebee up for auction. Anyone interested? https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1974-porsche-914-20-13/ |

It's a Mondial, refuses to run, no matter how much cash you pour down it's throat! Attached image(s) ![]() |

It's a Mondial, refuses to run, no matter how much cash you pour down it's throat! I had three of them….’85, ‘86 and the ‘88 I took to Okteenerfest a few years ago. All coupes. Great cars and I never had a problem with mine. YMMV. |

Great cars and I never had a problem with mine. YMMV. I'm learning there is a reason why most 80's Ferrari's have around 30,000 miles on them, it's because no one ever drove them to work, drove them every weekend, and took them on trips, like we do in a Porsche. I can only guess that no one did those things because they have always been fairly unreliable. It's like a Maserati Bi-Turbo or a Delorean, none have high miles, because it's impossible to put high miles on them. From what I can gather on the Mondial is they took the same motor as the 308 and watered down all the components to get the price down, so the fuel and ignition are sub-standard to the 308, which itself is not a testemant to reliability. I got this one dirt cheap, plan to get to in a few years, or wait until it's cheap enough to electrify it. |
