Hi Everyone,
I recently had an accident that damaged the front of my 1971 914-4. The body shop would like me to source an entire front corner because most sections of the left front corner are distorted beyond repair. I have sourced an entire front end from a 1974, and want to know if it is the same as my 1971. Thanks in advance for your wisdom. John Strawway |

Here I used a ‘74 panel on a ‘72, I removed the half moon brackets. Everything lined up, a little difference where inner panel of the headlight buckets mated to the panel.
![]() Additionally I used ‘76 turn signal front corners adding the reinforcement brackets for the bumper. This is the finished product. ![]() See before photos here http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...=211943&hl= |
