Anyone tried these in their 914? If so,

How did it work out?
Brand/model Recommendations?
Where to mount rear camera?

What to avoid?

I put one in my SiL's BMW. I don't remember the brand. It clipped onto the existing RVM. It requires 12V to the RVM and there is a lead coming from the unit with a ~15' lead that you route to the rear camera head. No wiring is outside the vehicle. You will place that head on the rear glass. There was an option to mount it on the license plate but that would be so low all you would see on the display was another cars license plate. Some also record but those units usually have a front & rear camera head. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
