Lots of mistakes were made, though it was a learning experience and hopefully made it more entertaining for you guys. Thank you 914World'ers for helping me learn and find solutions, as I said - Keep on tinkering

Ian Karr has a great Youtube video that really helped me when I did mine .People on the forum here would talk about the dreaded FAI box , even Ian said it was a two man job at the minimum . I was a one man operation so I was a bit worried . However, The rubber band method he used and the ratchet clamp I used made it possible and saved me much time and frustration . The hardest part was squeezing the completed rebuild FAI box back into it final position . I did the install in about a half hour by myself thanks @ Ian Karr.
I would have to say I spent much more time trying to install the nylon bushing back into my rear sway bar drop links . I still have not completed that job yet but that's for another day . I have invested a couple of hours on that one and it's still not completed yet .
