How does this rear tow hook bracket assembly come apart? The threaded tube is welded to the support bracket. The support bracket is welded to the tail panel. The threaded tube extends thru the tail panel into another bracket on the inside of the tail panel. Are they attached? How are they attached? Is the tube part of the inside bracket, or is it part of the outside bracket? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you, Sean |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) its 2 pieces, & the tube is part of the inner piece
It is passed thru a hole in the tail panel. You can see from your images its then spotted to the panel & stitched to the tube from the underside. The way Ive done it is like you you remove the spots then split the bracket along the tube length from the top which makes it easer to access /remove then reweld after the fact.
