I'm sure there are at least a few folks out there who like to play with 3D printers. I have a request for one of you:
I'd like a couple of cookie cutters that will make cookies shaped like four-lug Fuchs wheels. I've found other wheels (five-lug Fuchs, ATE "cookie cutter" five-lugs, etc.) but none of our four-lug ones. Please PM me so we can work out details. --DD |

I do not have a file. I just checked thingiverse and didn't find anything; not sure where else I could look. I have a friend who is low-key looking into making a model, but there's a reason "copious spare time" is a standard joke in the tech world.
The end goal would be to use this on clay. (Insert joke about 4-liter conversions here.) I do ceramics as a hobby now, and was thinking about interesting stuff I could make with 914 wheel shapes. Re: dentistry--I have a 3D printed "night guard". It seems like it's pretty standard stuff; you can see and feel the layers. I don't know what the actual material is, other than some kind of plastic. The dentist warned me not to put it in the dishwasher due to the risk of it melting or warping. Zero experience with other dental applications. --DD |
