I have a Permatune ignition in my '71 which after 40 some years needs replacing. Looking at the Permatune system that includes the control box, distributor and coil. Sounds like it is programmable like the 123 distributor.
My car has Webers and a Webcam along with some other head mods, etc.
Anyone have experience with this?

This is not plug and play but is the path I would take if I was serious about a T4...

That is a BAD ASSED little unit! 600.

You could probably find functional stuff in the $300 range NEW.

Ignition parts/sensors would come from here.

Sadly, the key is the cam sync sensor which is currently un-available.
The V2 is an improvement.

There are other crank sensors available for the T4 as well.
Many require engine removal to install. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Running waste spark or COP inductive is more powerful than the best CDI units.

You will already have 60% of a ultracapable EFI completed...

1K looks possible, especially if you use a cheaper ECU.
