As I go through the somewhat butchered wiring harness on my new to me '73 2.0L, I've run across a green with white stripe wire which has been lengthened with some butt connectors running along the center of the car. It looks like the wire is connected to the heater control lever. Can someone explain what this does? The only green/white wire I find referenced in the Prospero Garage drawing goes from the heater fan switch to pin 9 regulator plate in the engine compartment. Thx for the help.

Jesse I believe it goes to the red defrost control lever behind the shifter to turn on the blower fan in the engine compartment drivers side. |
