Hello, needing a compact spare for my 914 six with flares. Currently, I’m running 15 inch wheels but I think in a pinch this could work. I think my rears are 225/ 60 17. Front 195 65 15 Pirelli cn36.
See pictures for rim and Tire six. To get me out of the boonies and back to civilization do you think this wheel would work? Very reasonably priced under 100 bucks and basically new.   |

@cairo94507 @sb914 @RiqueMar Thanks ya'll for the the feeback. Going Cairo style with the wheel storage- frunk mounted on the wall at the gas tank vertically. Will this fit mine Cairo? With the tire flat, is the diameter of the compact spare much smaller than a common 15" wheel/ tire combo? I'd guess so otherwise whats the point.... I'm replacing my funky front oil cooler shroud with a proper Getty 914-6 shroud with the goal of having the space for the compact spare up front. Wheel...no problems with the backspacing for both front and back I hope... I'll go for it...the price is right. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
