Hello, needing a compact spare for my 914 six with flares. Currently, I’m running 15 inch wheels but I think in a pinch this could work. I think my rears are 225/ 60 17. Front 195 65 15 Pirelli cn36.
See pictures for rim and Tire six. To get me out of the boonies and back to civilization do you think this wheel would work? Very reasonably priced under 100 bucks and basically new. ![]() ![]() |

@roundtwo - Let me measure mine and take a couple photos this morning. But, I believe it should easily fit height wise. My concern is making sure the cooler shroud does not extend back so far towards the gas tank that the tire sits on the shroud. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

The shroud taper is pretty thin as it approaches the tank area. Thanks for the tech support! oh...did you buy your wheel mount premade and then weld it the the tank wall bulkhead? |
