So I am finally getting close to the finish line of the work and getting ready to get the car back on the road after the winter here in Quebec, Canada.
Last thing I did was replacing the pedal set with a rebuilt set from Mr. Stone. Everything is fine with the clutch and brake, but my accelerator cable does not stay attached. The ball socket goes very easily on the new ball on the rebuilt pedal set so my guess on the culprit would be that the ball socket on the end of the accelerator cable would need to be replaced. Should I look elsewhere? Below is what I think should be replaced. Thanks ![]() |

There’s also another version of the socket available with a little clip/ pin through it that keeps it from popping off, I was having the same issue and got one of those from AA or pelican. Hasn’t came off since
