For the people not able to be there, how about hearing from you on your scores at Carlisle. Make me feel bad about not being there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

I thought turn out was pretty good. Let’s face it, swap meets are a thing of the past. Why wait until a specific day of the year and hope you find what you want when you can go online and get what you want, shipped to your door. I’m only buying at a swap if it’s a screaming deal. Otherwise it’s just a place to shoot the shit and look at pretty cars.

Bring big things that people can't ship, sheet metal, tops, bumpers, etc. 2. Bring stuff you have a bunch of and sell it cheap, like real cheap. 3. Sell little stuff that it isn't worth listing online, like packs of hardware or small repro parts. What you don't do is bring valuable parts and tell buyers how much you could get on eBay. We used to bring bins of stuff and had a colored sticker method Green Stickers for $5, Red Stickers for $20, etc. People loved it. |
