1976 914, replacing upper steering column bearing. Noticed the wiper switch has the spare tire powered windsheild washer system. Is there a conversion to replace the spare tire powered washer to electric, using the wiper lever? I know there are push button replacements. What about a lever controled washer? Hopefully a current available conversion kit. Thanks in advance, Steve

The short answer is yes. I did it on my 72. You may have to replace your washer switch/stalk in your steering Column with a 924 version.. run some wiring… buy a small pump and connect it all together. There are various posts about how to do it in this forum. Mine works good.
