Made a deal on Creamsicle. Going for road trip next week to the Texas desert. Out of state owner has to fly in. Now in quandary what to do with 76 I have been working on. It was going to be -6 conversion. Lots of new parts will be for sale if I switch. Other option is to make Creamsicle a survivor. Red painted white and black on bumpers
Stored INSIDE since 1987. 2000 cc on windshield NOT the price, lol.

Congratulations on finding and saving another LE! Hope picking it up, getting it back home, and then putting it back on the road goes smoothly. Hope you take the time to share your progress with the rest of us. I've learned a lot from other people's build/restoration threads.

There was an interesting study done a few years back where at-fault drivers who were hospitalized for injuries sustained in accidents they caused were asked to rate their driving skills versus the skills of other drivers on the road. I tried to find that study again to give an exact number, but I believe it was more than 70-80% who thought they were better drivers than anyone else on the road. Those numbers generally hold up in surveys of other drivers as well, with higher numbers among (drum roll please...) young men. Obviously 80% of people cannot be better drivers than anyone else on the road and we are generally terrible at evaluating our own driving skills. Yeah, I can hear what 80 % of you are thinking right now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
