I’m new to all of this. Has anyone modified the wiring for their running light? I would like to keep my running lights on but not have the headlight raised? Then when I pull the light switch all the way out. The lights will pop up and come on. I have the lights changed over to LEDs everything is working. Just think this would be a nice modification. Can anyone help me.

The reason why they aren't working without the headlights is because they are *not* running lights.
They are actually fog lights. That's also why they go off when you switch to your high-beams.

I vaguely recall someone making a bypass thingamajigger for this, i think you can also just jumper some wires on the headlight switch.
