An insert for 275? What and why? Is it just rarity? Some strange one off design that no other car uses?

Buyer beware- I saw a post on Facebook where someone bought AA’s reproduction insert and they were longer than the original Boge inserts such that the gland nut only engaged a couple of threads.
I don’t want to spread any misinformation since I have not used them myself, but it might be good to see if somebody here has recent experience with them if you decide to go that route. |
