I guess file this under general garage skill but Porsche-related.
67 911 and I canNOT get this split nut off to remove/rekey the glovebox lock. Pic stolen from the internet as it best shows the nut in question. I just can't find anything that will get enough "bite" Asking here rather than other 911-centric boards since we're a bit more "hands-on"... Thanks! Brian ![]() |

Did you take the snap ring off? Ooooh. This may be the key. I now see what you see in that pic - but I'll have to see if that's reality for my particular situation. Haven't noticed a snap ring but I'll check. Good one. Otherwise - great suggestions on new tools to buy!! (love this board) |
