Since discovering my supply and return lines from the SS lines PO did are reversed been working to correct that. Now have all, correct I think, routing. But, since putting gas back in, she will not start. There is a little fuel going into the new fuel filter. Maybe that is correct but I get no indication she is even attempting to start. I hear some bubbling in the tank, that is it. What I did do is add a SS taper from Tangerine. You can sort of see it on the left there under the heat duct. Now I am wondering if where I put it, with maybe 8-10” of the smaller line into the filter is causing the problem? Causing too little fuel to flow?

I suggest that you're fighting a losing battle with the pump still located in the engine compartment. Counting on gravity flow from the tank the length of the car is not as efficient as pressure feed when the pump is relocated near the tank location, and do you still have that problematic mesh sock on the feed tube in the tank?
