Quick question - if I'm going to either trickle charge or charge the battery in-situ, should I disconnect the battery leads first. Don't want to damage anything during the charge process.

I never removed anything with my trickle charger and never had a problem, but I did this with my stock 3.2 and now my 3.6. What problems have you run into?
My v8 914 is also setup this way with no problems so far…
Over 20 years connected this way…
