The posting on fuel pump failure and towing got me wondering… if the pump is up front in bottom panel, could a trap door in the frunk spare wheel well be installed to access it from above?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

Mine’s a 74, so moved it to the steering area several years ago. Really not able to get under there while on the side of the road.
Looks possible to make an access door above it in the spare tire well, just in case….? |
